ROYAL STEWART KILTS

Luckenbooth Brooches

Luckenbooth Brooches are so called because they were sold from "locked booths" in the Royal Mile, adjacent to St. Giles Cathedral Edinburgh, in the early 1700s, and they were traditionally exchanged between lovers on betrothal.
